Besides choosing the right Tshirt to give as a gift, how to wrap a Tshirt is equally important. In the article below, we show you 3 ways to pack the perfect Tshirt for you! Scroll down for more details!
Method 1: How To Wrap A Tshirt With A Box
One of the simplest ways to wrap a Tshirt is to put it in a garment box.
1. Put the tissue paper and the folded Tshirt in the garment box and tape it back up.
First of all, line 2 pieces of tissue in the bottom of the box, then neatly fold the Tshirt. Place the folded shirt on top of the tissue and secure it with a small piece of tape. Next, put the tissue-wrapped shirt neatly into the box. You should fold the shirt in a shape that fits the box you have prepared.
2. Place the box face down on a large piece of wrapping paper.
Use gift wrap large enough to wrap around the box you’re using. Place the box face down on the unprinted side of the wrapping paper. Then, use sharp scissors to cut the wrapping paper out of the roll. Remember that you’re better off cutting the paper larger than you need.
3. Pull the far end of the paper over the box and tape it down.
Reach over the box and grasp the edge of the paper furthest from you. Pull the edge of the paper all the way up to the top of the box in a direction parallel to the edge of the box and tape the cover down, preferably using double-sided tape. To create neat, sharp edges, use your finger to fold the lid over the edge of the box before taping it.
4. Pull the front of the paper up to the edge you just taped.
Once you’ve secured the first side of the paper, push the box back so that the bottom of the wrapper is stretched. Then, pull the front of the paper to completely cover the front of the box.
5. Cut any excess from the wrapping paper
Now, use scissors to cut off any excess paper that will overflow on either side of the top of the box. However, do not cut the paper to flatten, but leave the excess paper about 1 cm more than the edge of the box.
6. Fold the excess and tape it down.
Using the edge of the box as a mark, fold excess wrapping paper in half lengthwise, then use your fingers to fold the paper along the crease lengthwise. Pull the paper, so it’s taut into the box, then place 2-3 small strips of tape along the edge of the fold to hold the paper in place.
7. Fold the top flap down on either side and trim off the excess.
Rotate the box so that one of the openings faces you. Then fold the top piece of wrapping paper down that side. Fold the paper in the folded position on the top and bottom boxes. Then, cut the paper along the bottom crease.
8. Apply the tape to the top cover, then fold, cut, and stick the tape to the bottom cover.
Pull the bottom cover up so that it touches the top edge of the paper. Crease it where it folds over the bottom of the box, then folds it over at the top. Finally, cut off the excess paper and tape down the lid. Repeat the process of folding down, creasing, cutting, and taping the top and bottom flaps with the other side.
9. Complete the Tshirt package
You have finished wrapping a Tshirt. Now you can decorate with name tags, ribbons, bows, or any other decorations you want to embellish your gift wrap.

Method 2: How To Wrap A Tshirt
With Wrapping Paper
If you can’t find a box that fits your Tshirt, this wrapping paper-only method will be the ideal choice for you.
1. Place the shirt on top of 2 sheets of tissue paper.
When you don’t have a box and just use wrapping paper, you need to be very careful to make the wrap smooth, strong, and wrinkle-free. To create a smooth surface, add a few pieces of tissue paper to your gift wrap, then fold the shirt neatly and place it on the tissue. You can use any tissue paper you like, but it looks best if it coordinates with the color of the wrapping paper.
2. Wrap the tissue paper neatly around the shirt.
Fold one side of the tissue neatly over the left side of the shirt, then the right side. Then fold the bottom of the tissue over and fold the top of the paper down. This step will create a square or rectangle that is neater and easier to wrap.
3. Cut a piece of wrapping paper long enough to wrap around the gift.
The wrapping paper should be a little wider than your folded Tshirt, but it only needs to be about 10cm longer than it is tall. You should choose a slightly thicker wrapping paper to avoid tearing during packaging and shipping.
4. Put the shirt down on the wrapping paper.
Place the wrapping paper you just cut face down on the work surface. Then, place the tissue-wrapped shirt on top of the wrapping paper. Leave just a sufficient protrusion, about 5cm from the edge of the paper, so you can close the bottom of the pack later.
5. Wrap the paper around the gift and tape it down.
Fold one side of the wrapping paper to the opposite side and fold the other side. When there is a reasonable length of paper, there will be an excess of paper between the two sides of the paper to cover the inner shirt. Secure both sides of the wrapping paper with tape.
6. Fold the paper at the top and bottom of the package and glue it down.
To close the exposed top and bottom of the gift wrap, simply fold them toward the back of the gift, then tape them down with adhesive tape.
7. Add any decorations you want.
Now that your shirt is wrapped, you can add ribbons, bows, flowers, nametags, or anything else you want. Feel free to be creative!
However, since there is nothing solid beneath the surface of the paper, avoid writing on the gift with pens or sharp decorations so as not to tear the wrapping paper.

Method 3: How To Wrap A Tshirt
In The Christmas Cracker Way
In addition to the above wrapping paper method, we also suggest another method that also only uses gift wrapping paper. This method is called Christmas Cracker because after wrapping, the package will be shaped like a piece of candy or a Christmas cracker. Despite its name, you can absolutely wrap a Tshirt in this method under any circumstances.
1. Roll the Tshirt into a cylindrical shape (burrito).
Lay the shirt flat in front of you, face up or down as you like. Then fold the sleeves and sides of the shirt in the center to create a rectangle. Then, starting at the bottom of the shirt, roll it up tightly, like a burrito. You can use an elastic band to secure your roll.
2. Place the rolled shirt on top of 3 tissue papers.
Spread 3 sheets of tissue paper, all stacked on top of each other, onto your work surface. Then, place the rolled shirt near the bottom of the top sheet, an equal distance from the sides.
3. Roll the shirt in the tissue paper.
Pull the bottom of the tissue over the shirt, then roll the tissue around the shirt, using the same technique you did when rolling the shirt. However, do not pull the tissue too tightly as it may tear.
4. Fold the last piece of tissue, then tape it down.
After folding the last piece of tissue, you should leave an excess of 3-5 cm. Use double-sided tape to attach the top paper to the tissue paper below.
5. Twist the tissue on the sides.
After wrapping the vertical part of the shirt, the ends of the gift wrap are still open. Feel the tissue along until you can see the exact position of the shirt. Then, move your hand about 2.5cm from the end of the shirt and twist the tissue tightly, creating a shape like a hard candy wrapper.
6. Wrap the crease with a piece of ribbon, then repeat on the other side.
Take a piece of ribbon rimmed with wire 30cm long and wrap it around the spot where you just squeezed the tissue paper. Tie the ribbon securely, then find the edge of the shirt on the other side of the pack and tie a ribbon there as well.
7. Complete your Tshirt wrapping.
You can add name tags, wrap presents with more ribbons, add stickers, or anything else you want! However, keep in mind that paper towels are fragile and prone to wrinkles. For the neatest look of the package, avoid handling it too much after the package is complete.
